Welcome to #InspireTheUninspired's last contest of the year and first contest of the new year! This contest is going to take #InspireTheUninspired through this year and into the next so it is only fitting to have a theme to go along with it! With the help of our absolutely fantastic admins and affiliates we have managed to come up with this prize list! So please give our affiliates and donators some love!!!

Theme: This contest has the theme of 'Memories and Resolutions'. What are your memories of the year gone? What do you hope to achieve in the new year? Tell your story: Fiction ChallengeI absolutely love fiction, but tend not to dedicate much time to it myself in between uni and what painting I can get done in between it. In light of this along with the series of paintings Ive done with little real direction Id very much like to give fiction-go-ers something fun! This competition is OPEN from now until January 1st 2013!
WHATS THIS ALL ABOUT?
I have painted a series of pictures that go together. In the past I have been asked about the story behind them, however I have to admit Im a dreadful artist and generally theres nothing too deep in any of my artwork. I see something cool in my head - I paint/draw it! However this series of pictures has most certainly evolved to a point where they could paint images of a fantastic journey. What is it? you decide!

This is the big one!Ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to announce our next contest!
Scratch That!
What the hell is a "scratch that?"
An excellent question! This is the biggest thing this group has ever done. It will be 10 rounds of tournament style writing, with varying themes and writing styles! Each round will last 2 weeks! (Dates will be posted further along in this journal.)
Anyone can enter! We're trying to make this as big as possible, so members, non-members and their dogs may enter! Bare in mind, however, that the very first round will be an audition. Only 50 people will then be selected to go through to the competition, so make sure you write to the very best of your ability!
At the end of every round, 5 people will be eliminated. We will celebrate the best poet of that round by giving them small prizes.

What honestly humbles me the most when it comes to dA, is that even when I am doing absolutely nothing, and seldom comment on your stuff lately (It's not due to me being uninterested, I just have become super busy lately, and I need to adjust my classwork/dA work) I still average at least 50 pageviews a day. I think that is lovely. While I don't look at pageviews when it comes to popularity, it's nice that my inactivity has made it so I am not forgotten.

Yes, I'm phoning this one in because phoning it in is better than skipping out on my responsibilities. I'd rather phone in a prompt than not post one at all. I am not happy about this but I think there can be some good results because you guys are smart and talented. You can think of this one as a softball or a breather all you want, won't change the fact that I'll come back with something to kick your butts later on.

It's that time again, group members!  There are premium memberships and a total of 300 points up for grabs, and if you don't enter, you're not going to get them.  Now, I've had the idea for this contest ever since I wrote about the topic in the summer.  Here is your prompt:

It's December 20th, 2012.  Tomorrow is December 21st, a.k.a the day the world will come to an end.  Write about the events that transpire on an original character's last day on Earth..

There we go.  I will have a folder opened up by the end of the day to submit entries, but here are the rules.

Limit of 2000 words.

Prose is encouraged, but if you would like to submit poetry, don't be afraid to!

You must be a member of the group to enter.

One submission allowed per group member.

No fanfiction submissions.

Deadline is Sunday, December 9th, 2012. This will allow me to announce winners on the 20th

It's no problem! When you go to the home page of our group, you should see a "Contribute Art" icon near the top. Click that, and a window should come up where you can choose which deviation you'd like to submit. Remember to select the "2012 Contest Entries" folder before you hit the "submit" button.
